My Approach

• It’s all about the Team: Project Manager to me is much more like Track & Field team captain (me in 2009). You will hear me using the word “Team” rather often because we all work together to successfully deliver.• Let Every Voice Be Heard: I incorporate every voice into a recommendation so that the best choices are made for your organization. What I’ve found is that people WANT to contribute, and when they do they feel more connected to what is being built.• Over Communicate: Share, share, and share some more! People become most frustrated when they are left in the dark. Transparency brings out the best solutions and we should latch on to those.• Adaptability: I will bring the best of breed, but I will also respect the needs of your organization. It was the key concept I learned at Deloitte University and it has stuck with me, because my service as a consultant is to you.• Be Strategic: Every decision, communication, task, should have intent behind it. Project Management becomes purposeful while efficient.• Resourcefulness: If there is a tool that can make our lives easier than let’s use it! Our work will become much more effortless and enjoyable when we make use of it!
